We don't need to play on any transcendent level, we just want to rock out battles ASAP. Naya's Hybrid deck allows the lowest cost offense. There might be more than one school of thought on this, but this is what I've found to be expedient for me. This is the game's "grindy" achievement, as you can clear all the others and only be a little halfway done with this. The third phase gets stealth (unable to lose health) for 2 turns, so you want to play your hinderances and gain Force while you still can during your first turn, before ending turn twice and facetanking any damage, then finally finishing off the third phase when the Stealth buff runs out. I recommend watching the video in the guide to see how this battle is handled. You play it the same as the rest, but it's 3 phases. I'd also like to point out that, while shown in the video, there isn't text explaining how the 10th battle works. I had a lot of trophies because I bought a costume pack for a couple bucks so this wasn't an issue for me. Be aware this will cost you 1 trophy each time, since you aren't getting back the 10th trophy you spend each time by beating the 10th battle. The 10th battle alone takes about as long as battles 1-9 combined. I just got the achievement and it is SO much faster to do the first 9 battles, pause and go back to main menu, then start a new journey. +1 to this guide and DannyGamer's comment!Įdit: Disregard the below. I decided to rebuild the deck instead and was able to cut the time to less than 5 minutes per run.Īlso, as was mentioned in a comment under a different guide:ĭon't forget to turn on "Speed Mode" in the settings to make things go faster! Because of that skill, my runs were coming up to about 11 minutes, which means that I was completing one run when I could've completed two. One thing to keep in mind when building the deck is to avoid getting any skills that give you armor for playing cards as I foolishly acquired this skill on my first time building the deck, and everything worked perfectly up until the last boss, where all of my buffs were removed at the end of the turn because I had armor, and it significantly slowed me down on defeating the final form of the boss. And very rarely would I go over 5 minutes. I followed the guide exactly as described and was able to complete most runs under 4 minutes and 30 seconds. This is by far the best and fastest method to complete this achievement! I completed this with 9 cards in my deck but I can see it working with 7 or more cards. Try for combo -> Damage Conversion & Thermodynamics -> Mission Impossible -> Overcome -> Overheat -> New attack card from the Transform skill -> Overheat -> etc. You will start gaining more force due to the damage and with the Transform Skill, you will get an attack card that costs 0 mana! Play that card and repeat until everything is dead.ĭo note that there is a possible Boss in Stage 9 that has 2 stages, so that fight cannot be one-shot by using Overcome. If you have the Overcome card then use it and if anything survives, start playing the Overload hindrance card. You will get less force but the Transform skill will provide you enough damage to win. If you can't get the combo AND play Mission Impossible then ignore the combo. Ideally, you are also aiming to also get the x2 combo damage ready to increase the damage of Mission Impossible, but this will sometimes be impossible depending on the number of cards in your deck and the draw order. If all these cards are evolved then it will cost 5 Mana to do so. On the first turn of every level, you need to play the Thermodynamics and Damage Conversion cards (any order) and then the Mission Impossible card. The goal of this deck is to build a bunch of Force and then one shot each boss on the first turn.ĭamage Conversion turns incoming damage into Overheat and with Thermodynamics you gain +2 Force each time you gain an Overload card (1 card per 5 Overheat) when combined with the Mission Impossible card, which deals damage to the player, you will gain enough force (10ish without the x2 damage bonus, 20+ with) to chuck away at a bosses health. Chance of reversal (Gain force when Hindrance cards are played) Particle Accelerator or Organic compound (Evolved = +3 Mana at the start of the stage) No cost or low-cost attack cards EG: Jab, Jab and Slash (My Shortest time was just under 4 minutes). Adventure Mode is not the only option! Personally, I grinded this out on Challenge mode as I could get through the 10 battles in an average of 4 and a half minutes.
