![]() I flew to Manassas from Massachusetts since I was having trouble finding the exact make/model with all the options I wanted at a good price locally. I have not owned this car long enough to attest to the long-term reliability of it but if it is like the other new Cadillacs (and the numerous other GM brand cars) I have owned in the past, it will be trouble-free and very reliable. Most of my driving is local and the car has been consistently averaging around 25 to 26 MPG on premium gas (which is recommended for the CT4). I very rarely have the need to drive highways. On the straight away it is a pleasure to drive. The car moves effortlessly and confidently without swaying. It took me a couple of days to get use to the fast response and power from it.ĭriving the CT4 on winding roads is a pleasure and fun. The Turbo 4-cylinder engine is powerful and responsive. The CT4 comes with many more options too numerous to list here. I absolutely love the long linear hood that gives me a sense as to where the front end of the car ends! ![]() Some of the many features that tickle my fancy and put a smile on my face are the auto-high/low beam, the rain sensor function, the exterior lighting option which turns on the lights when approaching the car (great safety and convenient option especially at night), the auto locking of the doors (eliminates that nagging question I have when I'm in a rush-"Did I lock the car?"), cornering lamps (so glad Cadillac brought them back). I find I have no difficulty in entering or exiting this car. (Speaking of safety features and other desirable options, the Premium Luxury trimline, which I have, offers much more for your money and is well worth considering when looking to buy this Cadillac.). There is very good vision from the large sideview mirrors as well as the rearview mirror. ![]() The trunk is small and not suitable for those who need to haul a lot around.Īll around visibility when driving is very good and driving safety is augmented by all the safety features that come standard with the CT4. As for the rear seating area, it is small and, in my opinion, it is not a car for those with a family nor for those who need to frequently transport others. I do not feel closed-in or cramped in the cabin. For a sport car the front seating area of the cabin is surprisingly roomy with plenty of leg room. The seats are comfortable and give all the support I need even for a man my size. Controls are thoughtfully located within reach whether on the steering wheel or on the touch screen. The DIC is easy to read, and the CUE is intuitive and not difficult at all to navigate. I find the modern definition of interior luxury to my liking and its quality and appearance on par, in my opinion, with its competitors which I've sat inside. The Cadillac CT4 presents itself as a nice balance between a small sport and luxury car. (I state my opinion knowing beauty is in the eyes of the beholder).Ī view of the back of the CT4 boast vertical taillights, another attractive and dateless classic Cadillac signature feature yet modern in their appealing integration around the sides of the rear quarter panels. The handsome modern yet distinctive grill and front end also clearly announces it as unmistakably a Cadillac.Ĭadillac's designers put some thought in designing the rear of the CT4 giving it an unclutter attractive balanced look unlike many of its competitors' back-ends which shout out "after-thought". The linear lines of its design, (that instantly identifies it as a Cadillac) with a touch of sculpturing make the CT4 appear longer and larger than it is. This small Cadillac is very modern looking, yet it inherited the subtle, classic beauty of its distant relatives. Well, that was my reaction when I first saw the CT4. Have you ever taken a sentimental journey back to a favorite place only to find that yesteryears landscape may have changed yet the allure and intrinsic beauty of it still shined through filling you with a yearning to make that little spot of the World all yours?
